Continuing with Benidorm police fleet renovation, the Security Local Government Counselor has acquired five new motorbikes to replace the 12 year old ones.
The presentation event took place in the Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes de España and both the city mayor Toni Pérez, the Citizen Security Town Hall Counselor Lorenzo Martínez plus members of different corporation groups could see the new vehicles and appreciate their features. The Police chief Juan Fuertes and other police agents were also attending to the celebration.
Besides the replacement of these five motorbikes, the city mayor has expressed his desire to renew six more, with the purpose of having a modern Police fleet. In the future, the local government pretends to focus in another kind of vehicles “mainly in patrol vehicles and other sections and Local Police units.”
The new five 700 cubic centimeter Honda motorbikes have cost 60.000 euros in an authorized city dealer that will do the maintenance.
Federal Signal Vama company, focused in offering specific and integrated solutions for emergency vehicles has collaborated with its distributor Teinsa, in integrating the directional motorbike lights (right and left), the omnidirectional telescopic pole mount, the control system and the compact emergency siren.
