Last March 2nd, Alcorcon´s local Police introduced 13 new intervention vehicles in its fleet, mainly assigned to protect citizens, infraction prevention and vigilance/control of illegal activities. Among the 13 vehicles, six are patrols and seven others are camouflaged.
Federal Signal Vama has participated in this project integrating the vehicles with its Legend Lightbar that includes Solaris last technology assuring 360° lighting. Besides, two of the patrol vehicles incorporate detention kits.
As Alcorcon´s security councilor Laura Pontes stated:” the vehicles have been distributed in order to serve every city´s district, procuring service to Alcorcon´s neighbors and shopkeepers.”
