Last February 3rd, 13 Renault Megane Scenic of 130cv have been introduced on Valladolid Plaza Mayor (Spain) in order to offset the lack of the municipal police`s material infrastructures and replace the oldest vehicles by up-to-date ones.
As Norte de Castilla newspaper informs, Federal Signal Vama has contributed to this project integrating the vehicles with VISTA LED lightbars, take down and alley lights, flashing red lights and the Signalmaster, the directional warning light. Indeed, all lightbars are equipped with 100 watts loudspeakers. All the lights meet European Certifications.
The same company has been the one in charge of equipping seven of these thirteen vehicles, with the self-prisoners kits, consisting of seat, floor, dividing screen and door panels. This isolates the rear passenger area from the driver and front passenger area, as well as comprehensive cleaning through pressurized water systems.
