Valencia’s Local Police has added to its fleet 55 new vehicles, where we can find motorbikes, intervention cars and vans aim to complete the current fleet of others vehicles already in functions. The goal of this new fleet as stated by Valence´s mayor Rita Barberá is to: “maintain a modern and ecological fleet of vehicles adapted to police needs permitting to policemen provide more efficient service to local inhabitants”.
Federal Signal Vama has participated with its distributor Teinsa, equipping 100% all the vehicles with their products. For the 30 automobiles the chosen lightbar has been Vector model.
Indeed, this new fleet is composed of new technological and more advanced ecological vehicles full equipped to ensure Police security and operability. Due to a general current increase of risk level in Europe, Mayor Rita Berbará considers that it is essential to equip Police forces with the most advanced technologies in order to be able to step in whenever it is needed.
Finally the fleet has also a second goal which is to help securing nearby cities around Valencia to improve service and citizen well-being.
